Mangrove

Projects

Afforestation of mangroves for increased biodiversity and resilient coasts.

Mangrove forests are considered the most productive ecosystems on Earth for carbon sequestration and storage, commonly referred to as “blue carbon”.
Our projects go above and beyond, sequestering more CO2 from the atmosphere than any other forest. The value of blue carbon is immense, as it effectively combats climate change while providing social and environmental benefits in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

In addition, mangroves play a critical role as a protective barrier against tsunamis and floods, provide habitat for marine organisms, and create new sources of income for local communities.

By reforesting 2,850 hectares of mangrove forest, we expect to remove over 1,026,000 tons of greenhouse gas emissions from the atmosphere over the next few decades.

Afforestation

Projects

Afforestation of mixed forests for increased biodiversity.

Our afforestation projects involve the local population and are strictly based on their needs. The areas are planted as mixed deciduous forests, partially combined with mixed coniferous forests. Special attention is paid to the involvement of women in the project activities.

By afforesting 54,000 hectares of forest, we expect to remove over 18,000,000 tons of greenhouse gases from the atmosphere over the next few decades.

Renewable Energy and Home System

Projects

Shifting from fossil fuels to clean energy

Our projects avoid greenhouse gas emissions by replacing fossil fuel lighting systems with Solar Lighting Systems (SLS) in low-income households, community organizations, and small/medium enterprises, particularly in rural areas without permanent access to electricity.

These products provide clean, renewable energy for lighting. The project will address significant public health, social, educational, and economic challenges through the benefits of carbon avoidance.

The implementation of these projects will avoid approximately 1,200,000 tons of greenhouse gas emissions.
